為數一億港元的可持續發展基金(基金)，旨在資助不同計劃，以助加深市民對可持續發展概念的認識，並鼓勵市民在香港實踐可持續發展原則。

 

具體來說，基金資助的計劃須着力：

(a) 讓公眾明白，在促進經濟、社會及環境方面的長遠利益 時，力求兼顧共融至關重要；

(b) 提倡符合可持續發展原則的日常習慣；以及

(c) 鼓勵市民參與討論並在本港實踐長遠的可持續發展。

申請資格： 非政府機構及社區組織、學術及研究機構及學校等團體；與及在本港居住而年滿十八歲或以上的人士。

The Sustainable Development Fund (the Fund) has been established with a sum of $100 million to provide a source of financial support for initiatives that will help develop a strong public awareness of the principles of sustainable development and to encourage sustainable practices in Hong Kong.

 

Projects that will be funded are those that (a) enhance Hong Kong people's understanding of sustainable development / encourages people to put the concept of sustainable development into practice; (b) integrate at least two of the economic, social and environmental aspects of sustainable development; (c) benefit the community as a whole; and (d)  are non-profit making in nature.

Eligibility:  Groups such as non-governmental and community organisations, academic and research institutes and schools; and Individuals aged 18 or above who are ordinarily residents in Hong Kong.
